The entry-level RC offering has been launched in India which gets single-channel ABS.
The much awaited KTM RC 125 has been launched in India. It comes with a price tag of Rs. 1.47 lakhs (introductory, ex-showroom Delhi). KTM is offering single-channel ABS with the RC 125. It is a good move considering itβs a sub 125cc bike and ABS is not mandatory.
Powering the KTM RC 125 is a 124.7cc single-cylinder, liquid cooled engine that produces 14.5 PS at 9250 RPM and 12 Nm of torque at 8000 RPM. This engine is mated to a 6-speed gearbox. The bike gets inverted telescopic fork at the front and 10-step adjustable monoshock at the rear.
Single-channel ABS is provided by Bosch. The RC 125 gets 300 mm front disc and 230 mm rear disc brake. It runs on 110/70 R17 rubber at the front and 150/60 R17 at the rear. It has a 157 mm ground clearance and 835 mm seat height. Fuel tank capacity of the motorcycle is 9.5-litres and the dry weight is 154.2 kg.
The Austrian bike maker claims that the styling is inspired by the KTM RC16 MotoGP machine. It is available in two colour options. Gets twin projector headlights with DRLs. The bike is available across 470 exclusive KTM showrooms across the country.
