The KTM Duke 200 features a single-channel ABS system.
KTM has been a prominent player in the motorcycle market since their entry to India in 2012. The Austrian motorcycle manufacturer had created a new concept to the idea of street motorcycles in India. The company has now announced the launch of the KTM Duke 200 ABS.
Priced at Rs. 1.60 lakhs (ex-showroom, Delhi), it is currently the most affordable bike from the KTM product line. And now KTM has made it available with ABS. It gets a single-channel ABS system.
The bike does not come with any new changes. It will use the 199.5cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder motor which is combined with a four-valve head. This is the same engine as used in the previously available model without ABS. The standard 6-speed gearbox is paired with the engine.
The bike generates a maximum power of 25 HP. The Duke 200 ABS uses the same trellis-frame and the 43 mm USD fork and monoshock.
The new Duke 200 ABS is available in the standard colours – orange, white and black. The bike is available across all dealerships in India, which amounts to 450. With the 200-250cc motorbike segment being the fastest growing segment in India, the launch of the ABS variant of the Duke 200 will play out right for KTM.
