KTM Duke 125 spotted for the first time while being tested on the outskirts of Pune city.
The Austrian manufacturer, KTM is likely to bring in the smallest member of the Duke family, the Duke 125. The Duke 125 was spotted for the first time by MotorBeam reader The Dukeist. The bike was being tested uncamouflaged on the NH4, outskirts of the Pune city.
The headlight and instrument cluster on the bike are taken from the Duke 200. The bike is expected to get ABS, due to the government safety norms but whether it will be a dual-channel or single-channel is still uncertain. The tyres are expected from MRF, in order to keep the costs low.
Powering the bike is a 125cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine that produces 15 BHP and 12 Nm of torque. The styling of the Duke 125 is very much similar to the elder members of the Duke family. The bike is expected to launch by the end of this year and could be priced for more than Rs. 1 lakh (ex-showroom).
