KTM Duke 125 has been launched in India with ABS and is priced at Rs. 1.18 lakhs.
The Austrian bike maker, KTM has launched their entry-level offering in India, the KTM Duke 125. It comes with an introductory price of Rs. 1.18 lakhs (ex-showroom, Delhi), the bike comes with ABS. It comes with a single-channel ABS on offer.
It is a welcome move by KTM India to offer ABS in the Duke 125. Although, it doesn’t need to have ABS since it is a sub-125cc bike and according to the new safety norms they could have offered just CBS but kudos to KTM for offering better safety equipment.
The KTM Duke 125 is powered by a 124.7cc, liquid cooled, DOHC, fuel injected engine. It produces a maximum power output of 14.5 PS at 9250 RPM and 12 Nm at 8000 RPM, mated to a 6-speed transmission. It is based on a trellis frame, gets 110/70 R17 front tyre and 150/60 R17 rear tyre.
In terms of suspension, the front gets an inverted telescopic fork while the rear gets 10 step adjustable monoshock. 300 mm front disc and 230 mm rear disc brake on offer.
The KTM Duke 125 has a ground clearance of 175 mm with a seat height of 818 mm and fuel tank capacity of 10.2 litres. The bike has a kerb weight of 148 kg.
