KTM Introduces Global Motorcycle Range in India Starting at Rs. 4.75 Lakhs

KTM has expanded its presence in the Indian market by launching a selection of its global motorcycle models, with prices beginning at Rs. 4.75 lakhs going all the way up to Rs. 22.96 lakhs. This new lineup encompasses various categories, including super naked, bigger adventure, a mid-level enduro, and multiple motocross bikes, catering to a broad spectrum of riders.

Naked Segment: KTM 1390 Super Duke R and KTM 890 Duke R

In the naked bike category, KTM has introduced the 1390 Super Duke R and the 890 Duke R. The 1390 Super Duke R also know as the Beast is priced at Rs. 22.96 lakhs(ex-showroom) and powered by a 1350cc v-twin engine delivering approximately 187.7 BHP and 145 Nm of torque. The 890 Duke R also known as the super scalpel, is relatively older model launched in 2022 internationally while the 990 Duke R is the current international model which has not come to India. This is also launched at Rs. 14.50 lakhs(ex-showroom), features an 889cc parallel-twin engine producing around 121 BHP and 99 Nm of torque.

Adventure Segment: KTM 1290 Super Adventure S and KTM 890 Adventure R

For adventure enthusiasts, KTM has got the purpose built big bikes, the 1290 Super Adventure S and the 890 Adventure R. The 1290 Super Adventure S is one of the KTM big bikes to come equipped with a radar for dynamics cruise control. Launched internationally last year, it is priced at Rs. 22.74 lakhs(ex-showroom) and is equipped with a 1301cc LC8 v-twin engine generating 160 BHP and 138 Nm of torque. The 890 Adventure R is a proper middle-weight purpose-built adventure motorcycle derived with the learnings from the Dakar rally. It is now available in India at Rs. 15.80 lakhs(ex-showroom) and comes with an 889cc parallel-twin engine producing 105 BHP and 100 Nm of torque.

Enduro Segment: KTM 350 EXC-F

In the enduro category, KTM has launched the 350 EXC-F at Rs. 12.96 lakhs(ex-showroom). This model is powered by a 349cc single-cylinder engine delivering 45 BHP and 37 Nm of torque, designed for off-road performance. The EXC-F might seem a little too pricey for the a mere 350cc motorcycle but it will be a ready competition bike from the factory with agility of a 250 and performance of a 450. This motorcycle also weighs only 113 kgs dry which is astonishing for the performance on offer.

Motocross Segment: KTM 450 SX-F, 250 SX-F, 85 SX, 65 SX, and 50 SX

The motocross lineup includes the 450 SX-F, 250 SX-F, 85 SX, 65 SX, and 50 SX models. These bikes cannot be registered in India and ridden on the road but can be used for motocross activities, competitions and private dirt track riding. The 450 SX-F, priced at Rs. 10.25 lakhs, features a 450cc single-cylinder engine producing 63 horsepower. The 250 SX-F, available at Rs. 9.58 lakhs, is equipped with a 250cc engine delivering approximately 41 horsepower. The 85 SX, 65 SX, and 50 SX models, priced at Rs. 6.69 lakhs, Rs. 5.47 lakhs, and Rs. 4.75 lakhs respectively, are designed for younger riders and feature engines suitable for entry-level motocross competition.
