Bookings for the 390 Adventure can be made at dealerships across India.
The KTM 390 Adventure has been launched at Rs 2.99 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). Bookings have already begun across the country. Since it’s first unveiling at the EICMA 2019, everything about the motorcycle was revealed except for its price. It is also the brand’s first BS6-compliant motorcycle.
The India-spec 390 features a couple of changes when compared to the international-spec bike. The KTM 390 Adventure for India gets Metzeler Tourance tyres with a 100/90-19 tyre at the front and a 130/80-17 tyre at the rear. Suspension duties are carried out by a 43mm USD fork, but, unlike the international bike that offers compression and rebound adjustability, this one is a non-adjustable unit. The rear monoshock, meanwhile, can be adjusted for pre-load and rebound.
KTM has also equipped it with switchable traction control and a bi-directional quickshifter as standard.
What’s same is the powertrain. The KTM 390 Adventure is powered by the same 373.2cc, single-cylinder engine seen on the Duke 390. The motor churns 44 PS @ 9000 RPM and 37 Nm of torque @ 7000 RPM.
