KTM 390 Adventure Enduro spotted yet again, India launch expected by early 2025
The much awaited KTM 390 Adventure Enduro has been spotted testing in India once more, stirring excitement among motorcycle enthusiasts eagerly awaiting the next generation of KTM’s 390cc adventure lineup.
Design and Styling
The 390 Adventure Enduro showcases a striking design characterised by sharp lines and aggressive styling. A prominent beak-like front fender, chiselled tank design and sleek tank extensions contribute to its rugged appearance.
The middle and tail sections also feature bold, straight lines, emphasising its off-road capabilities. Up front, the bike is equipped with a single-piece LED headlight complemented by slim LED indicators, maintaining KTM’s distinctive design language.
Ergonomically, the bike offers a comfortable upright riding posture, aided by a raised, single-piece handlebar. The footpegs are mid-set with bear claw-style grips and rubber inserts, ensuring a secure grip during off-road adventures. The instrument console is expected to be a straightforward LCD unit with Bluetooth connectivity, although it may lack advanced features like turn-by-turn navigation.
Suspension and Wheels
One of the key highlights from the spy shots is the bike’s wheel and suspension setup. The KTM 390 Adventure Enduro is fitted with a 21-inch front wheel and an 18-inch rear wheel, ideal for tackling rough terrains. The suspension duties are handled by a long-travel, adjustable inverted fork at the front and an offset monoshock at the rear, both sourced from WP Suspension. This setup, combined with the large front wheel, is expected to enhance the bike’s off-road performance, making it a versatile choice for trail enthusiasts.
Engine and Performance
Under the hood, the upcoming Enduro is powered by the same 399cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine found in the recently updated KTM 390 Duke. This engine delivers 46 PS and 39 Nm of torque, although it is likely to be tuned differently to suit the Enduro’s off-road character better.
Adjustability appears to be a key focus, with the bike featuring an adjustable brake lever and likely an adjustable clutch lever as well, offering riders the flexibility to tailor the controls to their preferences.
Expected Pricing and Launch
The KTM 390 Adventure Enduro is expected to be priced around Rs. 3.60 lakhs (ex-showroom). It is anticipated that KTM will showcase this new model at the EICMA 2024 event, scheduled from 7-10 November, with a potential India launch by early 2025.
