KTM 250 Adventure has been spotted on test in India for the first time.
KTM is all set to reveal the much awaited 390 Adventure at the upcoming EICMA show. Soon after its global debut, the bike will make its introduction to the Indian market at India Bike Week in December. With the excitement of 390 Adventure at its peak, its younger sibling 250 Adventure has been spotted on test for the first time.
The Austrian brand has been planning to introduce the 250 Adventure as a value for money adventure bike in the lineup. The bike spotted on test had halogen bulb powered headlight which gives away the fact that it is a 250 Adventure and not 390, which will have LED headlight.
We can see a TFT display, Continental branded tyres, comprehensive crash guards and pannier. It is yet to be confirmed if these features will make it to the production model or not. The 250 Adventure will share some of its mechanicals with the 390 but it will also miss out on some high-end tech and features.
The KTM 250 Adventure will share the same engine with the Duke 250 that produces 30 HP and 24 Nm of torque. The adventure motorcycle will get a different state of tune.
As of now, the timeline of the 250 Adventure launch is unclear. The bike maker has already delayed the launch of the 390 Adventure. However, when launched, it’ll be an instant hit if priced well. There are very limited options of adventure motorcycles in this segment.
