The price reduction applies to the 2021 KTM 250 Adventure only until the end of August
In a rare move, KTM has slashed the asking price of the 2021 250 Adventure by Rs. 25,000/-, but for a limited period of time. Now, the quarter litre adventure bike costs Rs. 2.31 lakhs instead of Rs. 2.56 lakhs (the prices are ex-showroom).
KTM, through this move, is trying to improve the sales of its smallest adventure motorcycle that was launched in November last year.
Considering the price reduction, the 250 Adventure costs about Rs. 1 lakh less than the 390 Adventure which costs Rs. 3.29 lakhs (ex-showroom).
It must be noted that KTM refrained from drastically increasing the asking price of the 250 Adventure during the latest round of price hikes. The motorcycle’s cost was upped by only Rs. 256/-.
However, the other motorcycles sold under both KTM and Husqvarna brands saw their retail cost rise by up to Rs. 11,423/- during the same time.
The change in the 2021 KTM 250 Adventure price aside, the motorcycle remains unchanged. Thus, it continues to be powered by a 248.8cc single cylinder engine that puts out 29.5 HP and 24 Nm of torque.
It weighs 156 kg (dry) and comes with WP Apex suspension, Bybre brakes, dual channel ABS with an Off-Road mode, and a digital instrument cluster.
