KTM 200 Duke finally gets the much awaited new instrument cluster
KTM 200 Duke updated, priced at Rs. 2.03 lakhs (ex-showroom). Now featuring a 5-inch TFT display. The new display, borrowed from the larger 390 Duke, adds modern connectivity features to the bike, elevating its tech appeal. The new model costs Rs. 5000/- more than its predecessor, which was priced at Rs. 1.98 lakhs.
Key Feature Updates
The standout addition to the 2024 KTM 200 Duke is the 5-inch TFT display, which brings smartphone connectivity and turn-by-turn navigation through the KTM Connect app. Riders can pair their smartphones via Bluetooth, receiving call notifications and navigating without the need for external devices. The TFT display also includes Supermoto ABS, customisable shift RPM colour themes, and a host of other features that cater to modern rider preferences.
Unchanged Mechanical Setup
Apart from the new digital instrument cluster, the 200 Duke remains mechanically identical to its previous iteration. The bike continues to be powered by a 199.5cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine, producing 25 BHP and 19.3 Nm of torque, paired with a six-speed gearbox. A slipper clutch is also part of the package, enhancing performance in aggressive riding scenarios. Suspension duties are handled by USD front forks and a rear monoshock, while the braking system features disc brakes at both ends.
Design and Colours
Visually, the bike retains its signature sharp and youthful design. The vertically stacked LED headlight and sharp body panels continue to define the Duke’s aggressive look. Buyers can choose from three colour options: Dark Galvano, Electronic Orange and Metallic Silver.

The KTM 200 Duke occupies a competitive spot in the Indian market, taking on rivals such as the TVS Apache RTR 200 4V and the Suzuki Gixxer 250. Positioned between the 125 Duke and the 250 Duke in KTM’s lineup, the 200 Duke offers a balance of performance, tech features and pricing, appealing to riders seeking a stylish and high-performing machine.
The updated TFT display enhances the Duke’s tech package, while its mechanical simplicity ensures that its core performance remains reliable. With the slight price hike, KTM aims to continue attracting tech-savvy buyers while maintaining its foothold in the premium 200cc motorcycle segment.
