The Kia Sonet compact SUV sporting the South Korean brand’s updated logo has been spotted ahead of its introduction which is set to happen soon.
Kia Motors will launch the revised 2021 model year Sonet in India with changes to its variant list. The car will also get to wear the new logo of its maker by way of the update.
Earlier this month, the firm sent a circular to its dealerships notifying them that it will discontinue the Sonet’s HTK+ 1.0-litre turbo petrol DCT and HTK+ 1.5-litre diesel AT trims by the middle of the month.
It is set to introduce HTX 1.0-litre turbo petrol DCT and HTX 1.5-litre diesel AT options instead. However, no changes are expected to be made with regard to the features offered with the car.
Launch of the updated Kia Sonet with the new logo is expected to take place on 27th April. During the same day, Kia will also launch the updated Seltos which will also witness a revision to its variant list.
Unlike the Sonet, however the Seltos will see the addition of new features like a panoramic sunroof and the introduction of the iMT gearbox option.
