Kia Motors has released the official images of the Sonet, revealing more features of the car that is set to launch next week in India.
We had only recently been treated to the official rendering of the compact SUV, but there was no interior sketch, which has also been released.
As seen earlier, the exterior design of the car is striking to look at, what with its “tiger nose” grille, 3D “stepwell” geometric grille mesh, bonnet bulge, DRLs, roof rails and curvy elements down the sides.
The rear of the car gets a tail light trim that spans the width of the car, a relatively small tail gate and a large bumper section. Clad with many plastic bits, the small SUV gets a rugged look overall.
Although we have seen spy shots of the interior, these official images provide us with a clear picture of how Kia Sonet features will be inside.
What the eyes see first is that 10.25-inch HD touchscreen and navigation system that will come with UVO Connected tech. It will also get new Sound Mood Lighting feature.
Materials used in the Kia Sonet will be high-quality claims Kia, adding that the car will get many user friendly features.
The steering wheel with controls, drive modes, traction modes, the AC vents with knurled metallic surrounds all provide a modern look to the cabin. Up to six airbags will be offered on the Sonet along with other safety equipment.
Aimed at young, tech-savvy buyers, the Sonet will go head to head with other compact SUVs such as the Hyundai Venue, Ford EcoSport, Maruti Vitara Brezza, Tata Nexon and Mahindra XUV300.
