Kia Sonet Features Explained In Official Video

Kia has released a video explaining in detail about the 2020 Sonet, be it features, equipment list and even the design.

According to Kia, the Sonet derives its name from two words – style and connectivity. As we have reported earlier, the compact SUV will come in two trim options – GT Line and Premium Tech Line.

The GT Line is construed as a sportier option and gets red accents throughout, while the Tech Line comes with silver highlights.

Certain features that the come comes with, which might not have been mentioned earlier include the diamond knurling pattern on the chrome garnish surrounding the grille, red front calipers, wireless smartphone charging with cooling function, auto anti-glare inside rear-view mirror with UVO controls and many others.

2020 Kia Sonet Features also include UVO connected car features for free for three years. Certain other key things to note is that the 205 mm ground clearance and comes with 8 body colours and three dual tone options.

Further, Kia has taken care to keep the car’s insides fresh by providing an eco coating to keep the cabin odour free and a smart pure air purifier that it says kills 99 percent of the virus and bacteria in the air passing through it.

Stowage spaces are aplenty with even places to keep umbrellas, while the boot is 392 litres big. Kia claims that the aerodynamic design of the car is the reason why it is very fuel-efficient and adds that the car has a Cd factor of 0.35.

Six special enhancements have been made to the car, claims the South Korean manufacturer, so that it better suits the Indian market. They are – fuel efficiency, clutch durability, brake feel, cabin cooling, reduction of noise from suspension, and horn sound.

Launch of the car is close by and it is expected to give a tough fight to its competition that includes cars such as the Tata Nexon, Hyundai Venue, Maruti Vitara Brezza and the likes.
