Kia Sonet facelift teaser reveals rear design and new digital cluster
Kia Sonet facelift latest teaser reveals more details on the new compact SUV. The updated model will be launched on 14th December, 2023. It will get new styling elements, interior updates and new features on offer.
The latest teaser showcases the new digital instrument cluster which gets high resolution display and is borrowed from the Seltos facelift. The addition of this all-digital cluster will make the car feel more premium.
Another big update is the ADAS tech which has been exhibited in this teaser where the digital cluster displays collision warning. It will be equipped with features like Forward Collision Warning, Lane Departure Warning, Forward Collision Avoidance Assist, High Beam Assist, Lane Keeping Assist, etc.
The first teaser revealed the front profile of the Sonet facelift that gets sharper with new LED headlights and DRLs along with new grille and revised bumper. This time around the second teaser reveals the rear profile. It comes with new LED tail lights that are vertically stacked unlike the horizontally positioned lights of the previous model. Additionally, there is a new LED connected strip on the boot.
The engine options will continue to be the same that include a 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine producing 83 HP, 1.0-litre turbo petrol engine producing 120 HP and a 1.5-litre diesel engine producing 116 HP.
It will compete with the Maruti Brezza, Hyundai Venue, Tata Nexon, Mahindra XUV300, Nissan Magnite and Renault Kiger.
