Kia Sonet facelift spied with minimal camouflage, launch next year
Kia Sonet facelift spied yet again. The updated compact SUV will come with new front and rear styling, updated interior and more features on offer. The Sonet facelift is in its final stages of testing as the carmaker will introduce it by early 2024.
The front-end gets a new LED headlight cluster along with LED fog lamps as you can notice in thes spy shots. There will be a new grille design on offer and the DRLs will be longer than the ones seen on the outgoing model.
The side profile remains the same but you get new diamond cut alloy wheels this time around in the range topping variants. As you might notice from the top angle, it comes with a regular sized sunroof and not a panoramic unit. The rear will get new connected LED lights that are redesigned to look sharper. The bumpers at the front and rear are also expected to change.
Kia will be offering new interior details with slight changes in the styling. We can expect them to come up with a new all-digital instrument cluster and a larger touchscreen infotainment system along with a premium audio system. The Sonet is already loaded with features and it is expected to come equipped with even more features with this update.
We don’t expect any changes under the hood. Kia is likely to offer the same 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine, 1.0-litre turbo petrol engine along with the 1.5-litre diesel engine option with automatic and manual transmission options.
The Kia Sonet facelift will compete with Maruti Brezza, Hyundai Venue, Mahindra XUV300, Tata Nexon and the likes.
