Kia has reintroduced K-Codes for skipping the waiting queue
Kia Sonet facelift bookings commence from midnight (12:00 AM, 20th December). You can book the compact SUV across all dealerships in India and on their website.
Kia has also introduced the ‘K-Code’ priority booking initiative for the Sonet facelift to skip the waiting queue. Customers can avail of the K-Code from any existing Kia customer. It can be used for booking through the Kia India website and the ‘MyKia’ app and is valid only for 20th December, 2023, starting from 12 AM to 11:59 PM.
The new Sonet deliveries will commence in January 2024, except for the Diesel MT variants, which is scheduled for February 2024. Prices of the new Sonet will be revealed early next month.
Some of the features include LED Ambient Sound Lighting, BOSE Premium 7 Speaker System, Dual Screen Connected Panel Design with 10.25-inch Full Digital Cluster and touchscreen infotainment system, 360 degree camera with blind view monitor on the cluster, rear door sunshade curtain, all door power window one touch up/down, air purifier with virus and bacteria protection and 4 way powered driver seat.
It comes equipped with ADAS Level 1 features like Front Collision Warning, Front Collision Avoidance Assist, Leading vehicle departure alert, Lane Departure Warning, Lane Keep Assist, Lane Following Assist, High Beam Assist and Driver Attention Warning.
Some of the safety features include Electronic Stability Control, Vehicle Stability Management, Hill-start Asist Control, 6 airbags, ABS, etc.
The engine options remain unchanged but now the diesel engine gets a 6-speed manual transmission option. It comes with a 83 HP 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine for the entry-level variants, which is only available with a 5-speed manual. Next up is the 120 HP 1.0-litre turbo petrol engine, which is available in IMT and DCT transmission options. Then there is the 116 HP 1.5-litre diesel engine, which is available with 6-speed MT, 6-speed iMT and 6-speed AT gearbox options.
