Kia Showcases The EV4 Sedan & EV4 Hatchback Ahead Of Their Global Premiere On February 24th

Kia unveiled the EV4 Hatchback and EV4 Sedan models ahead of their global premiere. The stage for their premier is the 2nd Edition of the World EV Day in Tarragona, Spain. This particular model aims to target a broader audience with features prioritising lifestyle and urban exploration.

Kia EV4 Sedan: New Design Language

The EV4 follows a design language known as “Opposites United”. It is meant to incorporate design cues contrasting in nature to suit one another harmoniously. The EV4 Sedan has a sleek low nose and long-tail silhouette. It features the EV Tiger Nose design that looks drastic, which has vertically positioned headlights and Star Map Lighting Signature. The long tail design is meant to boost efficiency. At the rear, you will find a two-piece rear spoiler that helps to deliver the long tail silhouette with vertical light treatment.

Kia EV4 Hatchback: Same Design, Different Bodystyle

The EV4 Hatchback incorporates the same philosophy in a different silhouette. The C-pillars are vertically finished in black. The design of the EV4 fits the hatchback form factor better as the C-Pillars are properly integrated into the body style. At the rear, the sloping rear window, combined with wide taillights, exudes a bold design.

Kia EV4 GT Design: Performance Oriented Version

The Kia EV4 GT Design incorporates many of the design aspects of the standard EV4 but with a sportier aesthetic. The front and rear bumpers are more pronounced with the wing shape. The 19-inch wheels, which have the characteristic white accents on the EV4 Sedan and Hatchback, have a triangular motif to signify the sporty nature of the vehicle.

Outlook

The Kia EV Day will take place on 24th February in Tarragona, Spain. The Kia EV4 will make its debut announcement along with the plan for an extended expansion of the electrification strategy. The detailed specifications of the EV4 will be revealed on 27th February, which will help to provide insights on the EV4 and how it will be more appealing in Kia’s growing EV Lineup.
