Kia Carens gets new X Line variant offering visual changes and new features on offer
Kia Carens X Line launched with a price tag of Rs. 18.94 lakhs (ex-showroom) for Petrol DCT and Rs. 19.44 lakhs (ex-showroom) for Diesel 6AT. With this new variant, Kia aims to boost the sales of the Carens during the upcoming festive season in India.
It is offered only in the aforementioned two variants of petrol and diesel automatic. It will be available only in the 6-seater configuration. The exterior comes in Xclusive Matte Graphite Exterior colour.
The interior of the Kia Carens X Line comes in Xclusive Two Tone Black and Splendid Sage Green colour tones. Kia has introduced Rear Seat Entertainment (RSE) Unit for LH Rear Passengers. This screen features Podcasts, Screen Mirroring, Pinkfong and a variety of other entertainment and news apps. The RSE unit can also be controlled via a remote-control app installed on the user’s phone.
Along with the matte graphite exterior, there are some gloss black contrasting elements like grille, front bumper garnish, rear bumper garnish, rear skid plate, roof rack, side door garnish, ORVMs, etc. It comes with 16-inch dual tone alloy wheels and X Line badging on the tailgate.
It is powered by the same 1.5-litre turbo petrol engine producing 160 HP and 253 Nm torque, mated to a 7-speed DCT automatic and the 1.5-litre diesel engine producing 115 HP and 250 Nm torque, mated to a 6-speed AT.
