Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R ready to be launched in India as the bike has been spotted at ARAI for homologation.
Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R has been spotted at ARAI for homologation. Those who don’t know, homologation is a process of testing the new bikes and cars before the launch. In this process, the machine goes through a series of tests where ARAI sees how the product is suited for Indian road conditions.
This test is quite extensive and the government of India law says that you cannot launch any bike below 800cc unless it gets homologated. A clear indication that Kawasaki will be launching the Ninja ZX-6R soon in the Indian Market.
Kawasaki is already leading the mid-capacity motorcycle segment with their current models, Z650, Ninja 650, Versys 650 and now the Ninja ZX-6R will be the one. The Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R will be a boon to the Indian motorcycle community.
The Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R gets adjustable Showa Big Piston Forks, adjustable Showa rear monoshock with Nissin monobloc front brake calipers. The tyres are from Bridgestone Battlex S20, we might see some changes here. It gets four in-line cylinders with 636cc which generates 120 PS.
Kawasaki has priced the Ninja ZX10-R at Rs. 12.80 lakhs since they’ve started assembling it at Kawasaki Chakan plant. Considering this, we can expect the Ninja ZX-6R to be priced at around Rs. 10 lakhs. We are expecting to see this model on Indian roads by next year.
