Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R is finally coming to India, bookings have started.
Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R bookings have begun with a token amount of Rs. 1.50 lakh. The dealers across the country have started accepting the booking amount as of 31st October 2018. The bookings will continue until 30th November 2018, while the deliveries of the bike will commence post January 2019. During the first round of bookings, the Ninja ZX-6R will be available in limited numbers. However, if the bike performs well in India then the company would bring in more units.
Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R is a supersport bike, with racing ergonomics. The bike was recently updated for 2019 with a host of new features. The new Ninja is now equipped with Kawasaki traction control, Kawasaki quick shifter and adjustable clutch lever. The new variant is equipped with Battlax Hypersport S22 tyres for increased grip and braking prowess.
Kawasaki has dominated the Superbike World Championship for the past four years while their main rider Jonathan Rea has a total of 67 race wins under his belt. The company wants to replicate their success on the sales chart as well, with the help of the Ninja ZX-6R. The bike is powered by a liquid cooled inline-4 cylinder engine which produces 130 HP at 13,500 RPM and 70.8 Nm of torque at 11,000 RPM. Currently, there is no other 600cc supersport available in India however, the ZX-6R is the perfect bike to change that fact.
