Kawasaki Ninja ZX-25R Ready In Prototype Form

Kawasaki Ninja 250 Tokyo

Kawasaki has apparently readied a prototype of the Ninja ZX-25R and it even has a racing exhaust.

The ZX-25R is likely to have better hardware than the Ninja 250

We have heard rumours of the Kawasaki Ninja ZX-25R inline-4 motorcycle a lot in the past but it has now been learnt that the company has developed a prototype of the bike at their Indonesia factory. It is said that the prototype is fitted with a race exhaust and the sound produced by it is equivalent to that of a big bike.

Technical specifications of the motorcycle aren’t known yet but it is likely to produce more power than the Ninja 250 which churns out 39 HP and 23.5 Nm. The new engine will be backed by updated hardware too. The Ninja ZX-25R might feature a single disc on both wheels with a larger rotor.

Expect Kawasaki to install a dual-channel ABS system on the bike. The motorcycle is expected to be unveiled at either the 2019 EICMA or at the Tokyo Motor Show. Once launched, it will rival the likes of the Yamaha R3 and Honda CBR250RR.
