Kawasaki Ninja ZX-25R price for New Zealand revealed. It’s $15,990 (Rs. 7.88 Lakhs), which seems quite high for a quarter litre bike, doesn’t it? But it’s not a regular 250cc motorcycle, it has an in-line 4-cylinder engine.
The Ninja ZX-25R carries the strong genes of it’s litre class and middleweight siblings. Pre-bookings have commenced in some countries. Deliveries will start in New Zealand by December later this year.
The bike has been delayed in the Indonesian market due to COVID-19 crisis. It was expected to be launched by April 2020.
Revealed for the first time at Tokyo Motor Show, the Kawasaki ZX-25R looks quite sporty. The design looks inspired by ZX-6R. The front is aggressive while the tail looks sharp.
While the specifications aren’t out yet. The in-line 4-cylinder, 250cc engine is expected to churn out around 55 HP. The motor redlines at 17,500 RPM!
The bike will be equipped with Showa SFF-BP fork and a back-link rear suspension. The Japanese bike maker will offer Kawasaki Traction Control, Kawasaki Quick Shifter, power modes, etc.
Recently they revealed the ZX-25R race version as well. It comes with sporty styling and aftermarket custom performance parts. It includes A-TECH full cowling, seat cowling and tank pad, Beet Nasset-R Evolution Type II exhaust system and Dunlop Sportmax α-13SP tyres.
