The Kawasaki Ninja H2R has been leaked ahead of the INTERMOT. The bike looks really mind-boggling and might produce an insane amount of power.
The INTERMOT (International Motorcycle, Scooter and E-Bike fair) will be held from 1st October to 5th October in Cologne. Bike manufacturers from across the world will be displaying their existing as well as future products at this expo. Kawasaki is also one such company that will be displaying its products here. The Japanese bike giant was supposed to showcase the Ninja H2R to the public, but pictures of the bike have already been leaked on the web. The H2R is based on the H2 and it is a track-oriented version of the latter.
While exact power figures for the H2R are not yet known, it is expected that the bike will produce as much as 300 HP of power. It comes with a supercharged 998cc inline-four engine. The H2 and H2R both use a trellis frame, carbon fibre fairing and a single-sided swingarm, something not the norm at Kawasaki. The bike looks absolutely smashing and lethal. The design is way too aggressive and the sharply-cut body panels look amazing. The star-shaped alloy wheels look beautiful and there is really nothing to complain about the design.
The true specifications of the H2R will be revealed by Kawasaki at the right time, that’s within the next few hours. This might just become the new flagship product for the brand when it gets launched. Considering the technological advancement on this machine, one can expect Kawasaki to offer both the H2 and H2R in limited numbers across the globe. This superbike might just become the halo product from team green and the good news is, we might get it in India as Kawasaki has been on an aggressive CBU launch spree in our country.
