Ninja H2R outpaces Fighter Jet, F1 Car and three other cars in a drag race held at Istanbul.
Recently, Teknofest Istanbul Aerospace and Technology Festival was celebrated in Turkey. The festival gathered many visitors and enthusiasts for various events, but the highlight of the festival was a drag race between Kawasaki Ninja H2R, fighter jet, private jet and fast cars.
The drag race was held at the newly opened airport in the city of Istanbul, Turkey. The drag race happened on three airstrips where an F-16 fighter jet from Turkish Air Force and Bombardier Challenger 605 private jet occupied a couple of airstrips. Whereas, the third airstrip was occupied by the Kawasaki Ninja H2R, an F1 car from RedBull Racing, Aston Martin Vantage, Lotus Evora GT430 and a Tesla Model S P100DL.
The F1 car was driven by Redbull Racing’s test driver Jake Dennis, while the rider on Ninja H2R was a former professional racer, Kenan Sofuoglu. The Kawasaki Ninja H2R won the race, which took 9.43 seconds to cross the line, following the bike was the F1 car with just 0.04 seconds more. The two were followed by the F-16 fighter jet coming in the third place.
