Kawasaki has introduced the BS6 version of the Ninja 650 with new features.
Kawasaki Nijna 650 BS6 launched in India, it has been priced between Rs. 6.45-6.75 lakhs (ex-showroom). The bike is locally assembled in India but the price has increased by around Rs. 50,000/- compared to the previous model.
The bike is available in two colour options Lime Green/Ebony and Pearl Flat Stardust White / Metallic Flat Spark Black. The styling has been updated too with new graphics and twin LED headlights.
It continues to get power from the 649cc parallel twin engine that complies with the new BS6 emission norms. The engine produces 67 HP at 8000 RPM and 66 Nm of torque at 6500 RPM, mated to a 6-speed gearbox.
Some of the key highlights of the bike include 4.3-inch TFT colour instrument cluster, smartphone connectivity via Rideology app and Dunlop Sportmax Roadsport 2 tyres.
