Kawasaki Ninja 650 Blue colour has been launched, priced at Rs. 5.33 lakhs.
Kawasaki has added a Candy Plasma Blue shade to the Ninja 650 in India. The Ninja 650 in the new colour scheme costs Rs. 5.33 lakhs (ex-showroom) and bookings across all Kawasaki dealerships for the motorcycle have commenced. The Candy Plasma Blue colour will be available in limited numbers. The Japanese automaker has discontinued the Ninja 650 ABS in black.
The middle-weight motorcycle continues with the same underpinnings as before. Sitting on a trellis frame, the vehicle gets standard telescopic forks up front and a monoshock at the rear. Braking duties are performed by twin 300 mm petal discs at the front and a 220 mm petal disc at the rear.
The Kawasaki Ninja 650 draws power from a 649cc parallel-twin, liquid-cooled and fuel-injected motor that produces 68 PS of power and 65.7 Nm of torque. The powertrain comes mated to a 6-speed gearbox. Assembled at the company’s Chakan facility in Pune, the Ninja 650 rivals the Honda CBR650F and Benelli TNT 600i, both of which are equipped with a 4-cylinder engine.
