The Kawasaki Ninja 400 has been updated with 2 new colour schemes limited to only 10 units each.
Kawasaki India had launched the Ninja 400 in 2018 and the motorcycle has a reputation of being priced optimistically. To spice up the sales, the company has introduced 2 new colour schemes for the Ninja 400 namely, Metallic Spark Black/Lime Green and Lime Green/Ebony (KRT Edition).
Priced at Rs. 4.99 lakhs (ex-showroom), the new colour schemes are limited to only 10 units each. The bookings have begun and the deliveries of the said colour schemes will be done by the end of this month.
For the Metallic Spark Black/Lime Green shade, black is the base colour and bright green is splashed around with some graphics. It makes this colour scheme the more subtle of the two.
If subtle isn’t your way, Kawasaki has you covered with the Lime Green/Ebony (KRT Edition). In this colour scheme, green is the base colour and the Kawasaki Racing Team (KRT) graphics dominate the visuals. This colour scheme also gets red highlights at the bottom.
The Kawasaki Ninja 400 is powered by a parallel-twin 399cc motor which generates 48 HP at 10,000 RPM and a peak torque of 38 Nm at 8000 RPM coupled with a 6-speed transmission. The bike gets 41 mm telescopic shocks at the front and gas-charged shocks with pre-load adjustability at the back.
The braking department is taken care of by a 310 mm single petal rotor at the front and a 220 mm petal rotor at the rear. The motorcycle measures 2020 mm in length, 710 mm in width and 1120 mm in height. It has a wheelbase of 1370 mm, a low seat height of 785 mm and a ground clearance of 140 mm. The only chink in the armour seems to be the smaller fuel tank at 14-litres as opposed to Ninja 300’s 17-litres and a high asking price.
