The Kawasaki KLX140G has been launched in India, priced from Rs. 3.91 lakhs.
The Kawasaki KLX140G is a track-only bike and it has now been launched in India. The bike is brought down to India via the CBU route and it is priced at Rs. 3.91 lakhs (ex-showroom, Delhi). A lot of styling elements have been borrowed from the company’s KX motocrossers.
The Kawasaki KLX140G gets a box-style high tensile steel frame. The radiator shrouds come with ventilation holes while the fuel tank is unitised with the upper part of the shrouds. To reduce vibration levels, the bike comes with a rubber-mounted handle. The bike gets a long travel suspension, with a 21-inch wheel at the front and an 18-inch wheel at the rear.
The Kawasaki KLX140G is powered by a 144cc, air-cooled, 4-stroke, single-cylinder engine that is mated to a 5-speed transmission. The front suspension gets a telescopic fork while the rear suspension is a Uni-Trak with Aluminium Single Shock. The front wheel gets a 220 mm petal disc dual-piston brake while at the rear you get a 190 mm petal disc single-piston brake.
The length, width, height of the KLX140G are 2005 mm, 790 mm and 1135 mm respectively. The wheelbase is 1330 mm while the ground clearance is 315 mm. The fuel tank capacity is 5.8-litres and the bike weighs 99 kgs.
