Kawasaki Eliminator Launched In India, Priced From Rs. 5.62 Lakhs

Kawasaki Eliminator will compete with the Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650 in India

Kawasaki has launched the new Eliminator in the Indian market with a price tag of Rs. 5.62 lakhs (ex-showroom). The cruiser motorcycle will be available in Metallic Flat Spark Black colour option.

It is powered by a 451cc parallel-twin cylinder engine producing 45 BHP at 9000 RPM and 42.6 Nm at 6000 RPM. This engine is mated to a 6-speed gearbox with slip and assist clutch.

The Eliminator parallel twin engine utilises the same platform as the Ninja 400 but has a 6.8 mm longer stroke to increase displacement to 451cc and help create strong low-end torque. It gets a large 32 mm throttle valves and a large 5.8-litre airbox.

The motorcycle is based on a lightweight trellis frame. It gets a relaxed and upright riding position with a wide handlebar and a low seat height of 734 mm.  

The bike comes with 18-inch front and 16-inch rear 10-spoke wheels. Measuring in at 130/70-18 up front and 150/80-16 at the rear. Braking is handled by 310 mm semi-floating petal front brake disc and 220 mm rear petal disc.

It is equipped with an LCD screen that displays information like digital speedometer, digital bar-style tachometer, gear position indicator, clock, odometer, dual trip meters, fuel gauge, remaining fuel range, current and average fuel consumption, coolant temperature, maintenance reminder, smartphone mail and call notices and Bluetooth indicator.

Deliveries of the Kawasaki Eliminator will commence from mid-January in India and it will compete against the Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650.
