Kawasaki – Bajaj partnership to continue in Philippines, aims at developing and introducing technologically advanced bikes.

Kawasaki – Bajaj partnership in the Philippines started more than a decade back, in the year 2004 to be precise. Their aim was to develop and introduce technologically advanced, fuel-efficient and dependable motorcycles.

Both the manufacturers have affirmed their strategic technical alliance and strong partnership in the wake of their similar partnership coming to an end here in India. Kawasaki – Bajaj ended their 8-year sales and service partnership this April where Bajaj has expressed interest in focusing on the KTM brand in India.

AC Industrials, a subsidiary of the Ayala Group of Companies takes care of the distribution of KTM brand of vehicles in the Philippines.

Kawasaki Motors Philippines Corporation, the Philippines arm of Kawasaki arranged a press conference at its head office in Muntinlupa City to celebrate their 13-year technical collaboration with Bajaj Auto and confirmed that the India scene will not be affecting their partnership with Bajaj in the Philippines. To show their unanimity, both the companies gathered their top executives for a formal meet-up.
