In July, 2022, sedan sales, Tata Tigor has achieved a staggering growth, the sedans on the whole didn’t perform well
In July, 2022, sedan sales were quite dull on the whole with most of the top-sellers registering de-growth or just marginal growth with the exception being the B segment in which most cars performed decently.
In the B segment, as usual, Maruti Suzuki Dzire clinched the top-spot selling 13,747 units with a YoY growth of 31 percent. It was distantly followed by Tata Tigor which has achieved a staggering growth of 232 percent. It has nearly tripled its last year’s performance.

The last 2 places were, as usual, taken by Hyundai Aura and Honda Amaze. The Amaze has posted excellent growth this time at 144 percent. But, it still needs to go a long way to come closer to the top-sellers.
In the C and C+ segments, Honda City continued to top the chart after clinching the first place from Skoda Slavia a little earlier. Selling more than 3000 units, it widened its gap with the Skoda though witnessed a double-digit de-growth.
