Danish toy production company Lego has released the Jeep Wrangler Rubicon kit for off-road enthusiasts to also conquer their living room furniture.
Released under its Technic series of kits that also covered notable cars such as the Fiat 500, Land Rover Defender and even the Bugatti Chiron, the kit costs $49.99 (Rs. 3684/-).
Finished in yellow with black fenders and accents, the kit consists of 665 pieces and was developed alongside the Jeep design team, whom, I suspect have unleashed the small boy lurking inside them for this project.
It has a functional steering wheel, fold-down rear seats, a working suspension system, solid front and rear axles, all-terrain tyres, spare tyre, a winch, roof lights, while the doors and the bonnet open as well.
However, not all things are right though. The grille is just a sticker, while the windshield does not fold down. Nevertheless, it is a solid kit that does not have too many pieces that takes ages to get done.
When finished, the Lego version of the Rubicon measures about 240 mm long, 130 mm wide and 120 mm tall.
To be put up for sale on New Year’s day overseas, the Jeep Wrangler Rubicon Lego kit just make cars more fun for toddlers and adults alike.
