The Jeep Wrangler Petrol has been launched in India, priced at Rs. 56 lakhs.
Jeep had launched the diesel version of the Wrangler Unlimited last year and now the automaker has launched the petrol variant of the Wrangler. The Jeep Wrangler petrol is priced at Rs. 56 lakhs (ex-showroom, Delhi). The petrol engine is a 3.6-litre V6 unit while the diesel engine is a 2.8-litre unit.
The 3.6-litre Pentastar V6 produces 284 PS of power at 6350 RPM and 347 Nm of torque at 4300 RPM. The engine is mated to a 5-speed automatic transmission and the SUV has 4WD. The engine has a 2-step VVT system along with a new thermal management system and a cooled EGR system.
The length, width and height of the car are 4583 mm, 1877 mm and 1829 mm (hard top) respectively. With the soft top, the height is 1860 mm. Features that are present include Command Trac 4WD system, ESC, McKinley leather seats, automatic climate control, automatic headlamps, Hill Start Assist, Electronic Roll Mitigation, removable doors and remote keyless entry.
The Wrangler also gets a 9-speaker Alpine music system and a 6.5-inch Uconnect touchscreen navigation system. The SUV gets wash-out interiors with removable carpets and drain plugs. The SUV also gets heavy duty solid axles and 17-inch Silent Armour Goodyear tyres.
