The iconic brand Jeep has launched its products in India after a very long wait. The Jeep Grand Cherokee comes with a starting price of Rs. 93.64 lakhs.
Enthusiasts and Jeep fans had to wait a lot of years before Jeep officially launched their vehicles in India and the day has finally arrived. The automaker has launched the Grand Cherokee range in India with a starting price of Rs. 93.64 lakhs (ex-showroom, Delhi).
The Jeep Grand Cherokee is available in 3 trims – SRT, Summit and Limited. The Grand Cherokee SRT comes with a 6.4-litre HEMI V8 petrol engine producing 475 PS of power and 624 Nm of torque. The engine is mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission.
The Grand Cherokee SRT comes with Launch Control which enables the car to propel from 0-100 km/hr in less than 5 seconds. There is also a Quadtra-Trac full time 4WD system on offer and it is supported by a high performance adaptive suspension. The SRT also gets Brembo brakes. The SUV also gets an 8.4-inch multimedia system with a 19-speaker Harman Kardon sound system.
The Grand Cherokee Summit and Limited trims are powered by a 3.0-litre V6 EcoDiesel engine that produces 243 PS of power and 570 Nm of torque. The engine is matched to an 8-speed automatic gearbox. All the 3 trims come with a seating capacity of 5 people.
The Grand Cherokee Summit comes with Nappa seats and a premium headliner. The same leather is also used on the door pads, gear knob, centre console and arm rest. It also gets a customisable 7-inch instrument cluster. The Summit trim also gets the Quadtra-Trac 4WD system that is shared with the SRT. The Summit is offered with 6 colours while the SRT gets a choice of 5 colours.
