The turbo petrol automatic-only version of Jeep Compass Night Eagle Trim commands a premium of Rs. 80,000/- over the base diesel manual-only variant
Jeep India has launched a new Night Eagle Trim of its popular SUV, Compass, with a base asking price of Rs. 21.95 lakhs (all prices, ex-showroom) for the diesel variant.
Featuring an all-black theme, the Night Eagle gets a gloss-black finish for the grille with unique rings, 18-inch alloy wheels, roof rail, ORVMs, fog lamp bezels, etc. On the inside, the new trim gets a piano black interior featuring black cloth/vinyl seats with light tungsten stitching and black vinyl inserts for the door trim.
The features on offer include a 10.1-inch infotainment system, a 7-inch instrument cluster, dual-zone automatic climate control, hill start assist, all-speed traction control system (TCS), electronic stability control (ESC), and electronic parking brake.
Jeep India said it had launched this new trim after seeing strong demand for its Trailhawk variant whose waiting period has now grown to almost 4 months. There are 2 variants on offer: a 2-litre Multijet Turbo Diesel variant with 6-speed manual transmission and a 1.4 Multiair Turbo Petrol variant with 7-speed automatic transmission.
The 2-litre Multijet Turbo Diesel powers not only the Compass but also a host of other cars from other brands.
