Mahindra owned Jawa Motorcycles to enter European market this year.
Classic Legends, a subsidiary of Mahindra Group will start exporting Jawa motorcycles to the European market starting this year. The Jawa 300 Classic has already been showcased in Czech Republic, Europe.
The European market will get all the three bikes on sale – Jawa Classic, Forty Two and Perak. The new range of bikes will compete with Royal Enfield motorcycles in the international market.
Jawa is expected to undercut the Royal Enfield bikes in terms of pricing. The bikes will get no changes compared to what we have in the Indian market.
The Classic and FortyTwo will be offered with the same 293cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine producing 27 BHP and 28 Nm of torque. The Perak comes with a 334cc, liquid cooled, single-cylinder engine producing 30 BHP and 31 Nm of torque.
