The much-awaited vintage bikes are finally available to the Indian bike fanatic.
For the past few days, the Internet has been storming about the launch of the Jawa Motorcycles. Jawa is one brand that had stood neck-to-neck with Royal Enfield, back in the day. And now, Classic Legends’ decision to bring back the World-War legends into production has been taken very well by the Indian biker community.
We at MotorBeam have been just as excited as our readers and have been at the edge of our seats for more news about the launch. So now, we bring to you details about how to book a Jawa for yourself!
Currently, only the Jawa and the Jawa Forty-Two are available for booking. The Jawa Perak will be available at a later date in 2019, which has not yet been revealed. While there are no dealerships which cater to Jawa motorcycles yet, you can sit at your home and conveniently book your Jawa online. The booking charges amount to Rs. 5000/- which can be paid using credit/debit cards, net banking, e-wallets or UPI.
The booking procedure is just like any other form of online shopping. Visit the Jawa Motorcycles official website at www.jawamotorcycles.com. After submitting your mobile number, enter the OTP you will receive to activate your account. Once you enter your account, select your preferred bike and colour and submit your delivery address. The website will provide you with a Jawa code which you will need for future reference. Complete your payment via your preferred mode of payment and it’s done. As simple as that!
The delivery of the Jawa and Jawa Forty-Two will begin in early 2019. While locations of the official dealerships aren’t known yet, Jawa has said that they will be opening 105 dealerships across the country. Even if plans about expanding their network are uncertain, Jawa has promised that its customers will never be too far away from a dealership.
