Jawa 42 Bobber borrows its engine from Perak
Jawa 42 Bobber launched with a starting price of Rs. 2.06 lakhs (ex-showroom). According to the bike maker, it enters the ‘Factory Custom’ segment pioneered by the Jawa Perak.
It is available in three colour options – Mystic Copper, Moonstone white and a dual tone Jasper Red. Deliveries will start early next week along with test rides.
Some of the highlights include new round headlamp, independent clock console, new handlebar, new fuel tank and a redesigned seat. The console gets LCD screen and there is a new switchgear to control the functions.
The floating seat gets 2-step adjustable feature, it can be moved front and back as per rider’s preferences.
The bike is powered by a 334cc engine borrowed from the Perak, it produces 30.64 PS of power and 32.74 Nm of torque, mated to a 6-speed transmission.
The bike maker says it comes with retuned suspension and recalibrated brakes for a sharper feel. It gets Continental dual channel ABS as standard.
