Jawa 42 Bobber Black Mirror is the new range topping variant of the bike
Jawa 42 Bobber Black Mirror launched with a price tag of Rs. 2.25 lakhs (ex-showroom). This is the new range topping variant of the Bobber family added to the Factory Custom lineup.
The new motorcycle comes with some visual enhancements along with updated mechanicals to make it a more desirable package. The bike maker has chosen the right time to launch the bike as the festive season has begun and they expect to spin out more volumes of the bike.
First up, it come with a new chrome tank which is inspired by the Jawas of yesteryears. Additionally, it comes with diamond cut alloy wheels which makes it look premium. The bike maker has redesigned gear and engine covers.
Some mechanical enhancements include new throttle body measuring 38 mm, which is up from the prior 33 mm. The bike now comes with refined engine idling with an idling RPM lowered to 1350 RPM from the former 1500 RPM.
Even the fuel map of the bike has been update. It also comes with redesigned monoshock now with better damping that offers a more comfortable ride. The bike gets 740 mm seat height which is adjustable.
Powering the Jawa 42 Bobber Black Mirror is a 334cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine producing 29.9 PS and 32.7 Nm of torque. It is mated to a 6-speed transmission which gets Assist & Slipper Clutch.
The new diamond cut alloy wheels are now also available as an upgrade for owners of the existing 42 Bobber. Apart from the Black Mirror, other colours of the 42 Bobber include Jasper Red Dual Tone, Moonstone White and Mystic Copper.
