The Czech brand, Jawa will be taking a rebirth in India on November 15. Mahindra owned, Jawa Motorcycles will launch the Jawa 300 motorcycle in various avatars in the coming days ahead but ahead of the unveiling, the company has teased the exhaust note of the bike.

The new Jawa 300 motorcycle will be heavily inspired by the retro Jawa bikes. The bike will be available in red colour with red pinstriping and will sport round headlamp, round mirrors, round indicators, spoke wheels, rear shock-absorber covers and parallelogram-shaped side covers.

One unique feature of the bike is that it has a twin exhaust setup from a single cylinder engine. The engine has been tuned to give a similar sound from the 4-stroke engine as their legendary 2-stroke engine sound. Jawa had appointed a team of sound engineers in Italy to achieve this harmonic tone.

The motorcycle is powered by a 293cc liquid-cooled single cylinder engine that has been developed at the technical center in Varese, Italy. The fuel injected, BS-VI engine gives an output of 27 BHP and 28 Nm of torque. The price for this bike is expected to be around Rs. 1.5 lakhs (ex-showroom) and when launched it will take on the likes of Royal Enfield Classic 350.
