Indian Motorcycles, the American cruiser bike manufacturer has lucid intentions to romp up its volume sales with the new Scout 60. The new Scout 60 is a 1000cc premium cruiser and is their lightest production bike in terms of engine capacity. The company is a pioneer in motorcycles with capacity more than 1200cc. Polaris Industries, who own the Indian Motorcycles division, have also planned to launch the 1800cc Springfield by September. The 1000 unit per annum sales market is also led by Harley-Davidson and is chased by Triumph, Yamaha, Honda and Suzuki.
