Car makers are entering India with a rapid pace. Infact the pace is so rapid that by March 31, 2011, India will become the 6th largest producer of cars in the world with 30 lakh units. The increase in sales can be attributed to increasing income, high purchasing power, easier finance options and more importantly more desirable cars hitting the road. India produced 26.78 lakh cars from April 2010 to February 2011 and will overtake Brazil for the 6th spot by the end of this financial year.
