India’s first Kawasaki Ninja H2 Carbon Edition superbike has been imported from Japan by a buyer in Ahmedabad. The bike is only one of the exclusive 120 bikes being produced in this trim. The gorgeous beauty got its Carbon Edition name because of the carbon avatar it gets on the upper fairing cowl, made of carbon-fibre reinforced polymer. For identification, the bike carries a unique reference number on a plaque situated on the super charger plate. Yes, for those who do not know, the bike is supercharged and superfast.
The superbike also gets mechanical upgrades which include a new Öhlins TTX shock at the rear, redesigned shock linkages, Bosch six-axis inertial measurement unit (IMU) with cornering ABS and a quick down-shifter for the transmission. The engine on the Kawasaki Ninja H2 Carbon is the same standard unit, i.e the 4-cylinder, liquid-cooled, 998cc supercharged motor that produces 210 PS of power and 133.5 Nm of torque. The Kawasaki Ninja H2 carbon Edition is available for a princely sum of Rs. 39.80 lakhs (ex-showroom, Delhi).
