The Creta and Alcazar will get 6 airbags, ISOFIX, ESC and VSM as standard on all trims

Hyundai India is doing really well in terms of sales and the automaker has been consistently churning out new products across various segments, thus catering to a very large number of customers across various demographics. Hyundai vehicles have always been known to be feature-loaded and offered with multiple powertrains but the automaker is now gearing up to take steps to the next level.

A source very close to us has informed us of a recent development in which Hyundai India is looking to equip a majority of their vehicles with intelligent safety tech. The carmaker is looking to introduce Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) across most of their vehicles from 2022 itself. The ADAS kit will include functions like Autonomous Emergency Braking, Adaptive Cruise Control, Lane Keep Assist, Lane Change Assist, Lane Departure Warning, Road Sign Warning, Driver Drowsiness Detection and a lot more.

Apart from offering ADAS, Hyundai is also looking to amp up the standard safety features on their cars. We have learnt that features like six airbags, ESC with VSM and ISOFIX child seat mounts will be made standard on every trim of the Creta and Alcazar. Apart from this, the company is also working on the Venue facelift which will arrive sometime by mid-2022 and that compact SUV is also likely to get all the safety tech right from the base variant.

Hyundai seems to have understood the pulse of the Indian market just right. Their products are selling in good numbers and providing a tough fight to competitors and this step of offering more safety technology is nothing but a step in the right direction.
