The Hyundai Xcent Special Edition has been launched in India to celebrate the brand’s 20 years of presence in our market.
Hyundai completes 20 years of operations in India and to celebrate this, they have launched the Xcent 20th Anniversary Special Edition. As expected from most other special editions, the vehicle comes with cosmetic tweaks and some new features while mechanicals remain completely untouched.
The Hyundai Xcent 20th Anniversary Special Edition comes with a chrome radiator grille, body graphics, boot lid spoiler with reflector, boot lid chrome garnish, 20th Anniversary emblem, red and black seats and a 6.2-inch touchscreen infotainment system. The special edition is based on the S trim and it costs Rs. 16,999/- more than the regular trim.
The Hyundai Xcent is powered by a 1.1-litre diesel engine producing 72 PS of power and 180 Nm of torque while it also gets a 1.2-litre petrol engine belting out 83 PS of power and 113 Nm of torque. The diesel engine produces a fuel efficiency of 24.4 km/l while the petrol engine gives out 19.1 km/l.
The Hyundai Xcent Special Edition is priced at Rs. 6.22 lakhs and Rs. 7.15 lakhs (all prices ex-showroom, Delhi) for the petrol and diesel variants respectively. The Xcent competes in the popular compact sedan segment fighting it out with the Tata Zest, Honda Amaze, Ford Figo Aspire and Maruti Swift DZire.
