The Hyundai Verna is going to arrive really soon and some dealers are revealing the prices. News of the top end diesel Verna being priced at Rs. 10.5 lakhs (ex-showroom) has just come out, which makes the car some what pricey compared to the competition. The reason we say this is because its closest rivals the Honda City and Volkswagen Vento undercut it by a significant amount. Agreed that the new Verna carries more features along with a more powerful engine but in India people value badge more than anything else. This pricing is in no way official and we hope Hyundai prices the new Verna on par with its rivals.
