Hyundai has released a set of sketches of the upcoming Venue, revealing the vehicle’s design.
After a lot of spy images, teasers and spotting production units on test, it is finally a short wait for the Hyundai Venue. The Korean car giant is all set to debut the Venue compact SUV. Ahead of the official unveiling of the Venue on 17th April, Hyundai has released sketches of the vehicle that depict the exterior and interior design of the vehicle.
The Hyundai Venue will be the first vehicle in the country to be offered with in-car connectivity, also known as Hyundai BlueLink. An eSIM, which is embedded in the module, will allow customers to remain connected. The user can track the location of the vehicle, get notifications and alert like speed alert, crash alert and emergency response. Not only this, users can lock-unlock, stop-start the vehicle from a remote location. The BlueLink connectivity also offers stolen car tracking, vehicle immobilisation and geo-fence which alerts the user if the car has moved beyond its preset perimeter.
From the sketches, it can be derived that the upcoming Venue will have a wide exterior look. It gets elements like the unique looking grille design with chrome highlights, LED DRLs which are placed above the headlights, extended wheel arches along with diamond cut alloy wheels. The sketches also show the presence of roof rails on the vehicle.
On the inside, the sketches show its spacious design. The cabin look premium and is loaded with many features. The touchscreen infotainment sits wrapped around the AC vents. Automatic climate control could be on offer as suggested by the control dials below the infotainment system. There is support for Android Auto and Apple CarPlay as well. The dashboard looks neat and simple and a small knob under the gear shift lever suggests an alternate dial for the climate control. The steering wheel gets phone and audio controls too.
In the safety department, expect the Hyundai Venue to meet all the safety regulations and norms. ABS with EBD, cruise control, parking camera with sensors, seat-belt reminder system, high-speed alert system, speed-sensing door locks, brake assist and keyless entry will be offered on the upcoming Venue.
Hyundai will offer multiple engines with the Venue. It is likely to get 2 petrol engines – 1.4-litre (from Verna) and 1.0-litre turbo petrol. Manual transmission will be offered while the turbo petrol engine is expected to get a DCT. The top variant of the diesel is likely to get an AT as well. The Venue will rival the likes of the Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza, Tata Nexon, Mahindra XUV300 and Ford EcoSport.
