The Hyundai Venue facelift, spied recently, should be introduced in India next year
One of the most popular compact SUVs on sale in India could well be ready to receive a facelift in the near future as yet again the refreshed version of the car has been spied overseas.
Unlike the model spotted in October which was heavily covered, this example of the Venue facelift only has the camouflage wrap, revealing the fact that Hyundai is almost done working on the car.
Only the rear profile image of the recently spied Hyundai Venue facelift is available and from the picture, it is clear that the compact SUV will gain a new set of tail lamps.
These lights look inspired by the LED units found on products from a certain Czech carmaker and are more sleeker than the stop lights that the current Venue features.
While the tailgate seems to have been carried forward, the bumper is new and judging by the tail pipes, it is possible that Hyundai will release an ‘N Line’ variant of the compact SUV in the future. Also, the alloys look new.
Although the front profile image of this particular model is not available, previously spotted development mules were featuring a redesigned front end.
Hyundai will give the car a new grille and restyled DRLs, while the headlight setup will most likely remain as is. Of course, a restyled front bumper will also be part of the facelift package.
Expect to see some changes made to the interior of the Venue which should be powered by the same set as powertrains as the current, pre-facelift model, which comprises a 1.0-litre turbo-petrol, 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol and 1.5-litre diesel engine options.
The Venue facelift should go on sale in India sometime next year (the car was originally launched back in May 2019) and will continue to rival vehicles like the Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza, Tata Nexon, Mahindra XUV300, Nissan Magnite and the like.
