Hyundai will, in time, rollout additional features for the 2021 Creta for improved connectivity. This development comes only a few days after Kia refreshed the Seltos compact SUV.
But, not all variants of the compact SUV will get additional features though. The base E trim will lose out on electrically adjustable ORVMs and the blinkers integrated into them (which will be duly moved to the fenders), while Hyundai will also delete the passenger seatback pocket and luggage lamp.
Moving up, the EX and S variants of the Creta will now get wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay instead of the wired system offered until now.
The SX and top-spec SX(O) variants will come with over-the-air (OTA) updates and new voice recognition commands for controlling the driver-side power window, POI search, accessing contact information and to get details about sporting events.
New welcome greetings along with remote engine start using the Smart Key in both manual and automatic models will also be on offer on the top 2 variants that will also get a soft paint finish on the dashboard, which should liven up the interior of the car a bit more.
It is not known if, due to the revision of 2021 Hyundai Creta features, the Korean carmaker will change the asking price of the compact SUV. The Creta currently costs between Rs. 10 lakhs and Rs. 17.66 lakhs (ex-showroom, Delhi).
