Hyundai Promise Crosses 1.57 Lakh Car Sales In 2024
Hyundai has experienced a boom in recent sales of pre-owned cars with the use of their network, Hyundai Promise. The network has been able to record total sales of a whopping 1.57 Lakh Cars in the year 2024! This is the company’s highest-ever yearly sales, with a year-on-year growth of 5.8%
Focus On Key Factors
One of the reasons Hyundai has been able to achieve this sales figure is its focus on transparency, trust, and reliability. These were the factors that needed significant improvement in the pre-owned market, which Hyundai, as an OEM, was able to solve.
The majority of the Pre-Owned Car Sales are because of the models like Hyundai i20, Creta and i10. These models account for 55% of the total certified pre-owned car sales. The Hyundai Creta can get hold of 13% of the total pre-owned Hyundai cars due to its appealing SUV bodystyle and features. It is also important to note that vehicles like the Venue and Creta can retain 70% of their value even after the third year!
Premium Price For Premium Service
This is due to the assurance of the manufacturer that Hyundai Promise can justify the premium. Due to the backing of an OEM, Hyundai Promise has achieved the highest-ever exchange of 20.4% in the CY2024. This is a feat which wouldn’t have been possible without the assistance and trust of a manufacturer.
Outlook
The Hyundai models eligible for the program go through an extensive 161-point checking system before being listed on the platform. There are also service packages like a 1-year warranty for cars younger than 7 years. A 6-month warranty for Engine and Transmission for cars aged between 7-10 years is also offered. This gives peace of mind to the potential buyer, in part with the use of a 600+ dealers network in India.
